Here's what Laura had to say about her tutorial: In this tutorial I’ll walk you through creating a vintage Altoid’s Tin book using chipboard and two Altoid’s tins. The fun part of this project is that by hinging two tins together it creates niches that you can load up with all kinds of embellishments.

Fill with candy, potpourri, electric candles...whatever!! He's a cute addition to your winter decorating! You could also add a hat on his head and a scarf! Just don't use a REAL candle near him if you use fabric!! Or you could put a stake through the bottom and fill with birdseed for a garden decoration!

I just LOVE mixed media and all the amazing creations you can make. Right now there are so many mixed media creations on my "to do" list I'm not sure exactly where to start. If I had to decide right now between all the tutorials on my list I would choose a mixed media chest tutorial that Laura Carson has on her Artfully Musing blog. It's simply amazing and Laura has graciously provided not only two video's on her blog, but provided a .PDF e-tutorial as well.

Here's what Jessica had to say about her tutorial: If your apartment needs some decorating, you can't draw, and you're broke, consider chopping up paint chips. (Yep, I'm still on the paint chip kick.) These are Glidden swatches from Home Depot made into a simple triangle pattern. I put it inside a mat and frame I already had, and it looks fairly respectable. Put anything inside a mat and frame and it will look respectable. Heck, you could frame a crumpled-up Kleenex and somebody will assume it's a very special piece of modern art.

How to make boxes from paint swatches

Here's what Jessica had to say about her tutorial: If you've got paint chips sitting around begging to be made into something, try folding them into boxes for paperclips, thumbtacks, party favor candies, or tiny gifts. I made these from Behr swatches, available at Home Depot.

Here's what Carina had to say about her tutorial: You can turn a regular old shoebox into something much more stylish with some self-adhesive foil and a pair of scissors. It's really easy to do, but it turns out there are a few places where it can go wrong. Luckily for you, I did do those very mistakes which you can now avoid.
